We get asked so often: “how do I remove used wax from my warmer?” If you are new to using wax melts, or moved from candles to a wax warmer, there are a few ways that you can easily swap your scents out.
We've put together three top tips to help you remove your wax with ease.
The first and easiest option to remove your used wax from your wax warmer, and how we do it at home, is to simply scrape around the edge of the wax melt with a knife or spoon and force the wax out. The used wax may break but this is fine, pop the used wax in the bin and replace with a new fresh melt.
When you are ready to swap your scent, either switch your warmer on for a few minutes until the wax is beginning to melt. You should then be able to slide it out of the warmer with ease, give it a wipe over and it'll be ready for a new piece of wax. If you use a tealight burner, simply light your tealight and leave for a few minutes and then easily remove the wax into the bin.
A really simple method: once your tealight has died out and your wax has started to solidify, pop your melter into the fridge or freezer for a short time. This will cool the wax quickly, which will cause it to shrink, it will then pop out of the dish easily.
We hope you find these methods useful. If you have any questions, please just ask and we will be happy to assist you.
Happy melting!
